    How To Install Your Deck

    • Unscrew 90mm packers from metal brackets and place in your bin.

    • Slot the framing into the brackets and place one on each end and screw together with 100mm gold screws supplied.

    • If your decking is 5.4m or longer it will be in two sections so repeat 2.

    • If the deck is 5.4m or longer and both frames are now ready to join together place end to end and screw with the silver screws supplied. So you know which sides go together joist hangers would be back to back.

    • Lay out the black weed membrane and use the plastic pegs to secure.

    • Now level your deck and with tape, measure corner to corner and make sure the deck is square.

    • Place the first deck board in a position flush with the edge of the decking. I would advise that you pre-drill just the ends of the decking so when screws go in you don't split the timber. 2 green decking screws per joist.

    • Leave a 5mm approx. the gap between each board and start to fix it. My advice is once halfway place all the boards on and see if you can get the last board on without having to cut it down. Saves time and looks better.

    • Finally, you have enough trimmed-down decking boards to cover both ends and one side. Fit ends first which are cut to the correct length. Lastly, do the front or longest side. You may have to join two lengths together, if so fit and then cut them off with a saw

    • VOILA all done
